Quality Assurance (QA) Framework

The QA framework at Sydney Met sets out principles, approaches, and areas by which the quality of Sydney Met operations will be assured and improved. The Framework reflects a strong commitment to consistency, transparency, integrity, and continuous improvement. This serves as a tangible reflection of our values: academic excellence, cultural engagement, and social impact. Equally, it demonstrates how we enable a student-first approach across all touchpoints of Sydney Met. This framework is intended to guide the activities that will contribute to developing a Sydney Met-wide culture of ongoing quality assurance to achieve the strategic objectives and desired outcomes.
Implementing the PIRI Model (planning, implementation/monitoring, review of risk management, and improvement) ensures the quality of Sydney Met operations. This model allows Sydney Met to achieve its strategic intentions and ensure quality outcomes for all stakeholders. The Quality Assurance framework reflects a strong commitment to evidence-based decision-making and continuous improvement.

Acknowledgement of Country

Sydney Met's campus is located on the unceded territory of the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation, who are the traditional owners of the land where the campus is situated. We pay our respects to their Elders, past, present, and emerging. We extend that respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in Australia and Indigenous peoples globally who are presently studying, working, or contributing to Sydney Met.
