Our Master of Social Work (MSW) is undergoing the AASW accreditation process.

Our courses are designed with a focus on critical social work, emphasising the principles of social justice, human rights, and inclusive practice to address the needs of diverse and vulnerable populations. Our courses provide theoretical and practical insights into social work and human and community services field, enabling graduates to make meaningful contributions to social work, service delivery, advocacy, and community development. Student will be exposed to various areas to social work, sociology, policy making, indigenous studies and inter-cultural communication. Our BSW and MSW courses are mandatory 1000 field education components.

Our Department of SWD has an active program of curriculum review, improvement, and innovation to continuously improve the student experience and to increase opportunities for students, including postgraduate degrees currently in development, to further meet the needs of current and prospective students.
